The Interpreter will be responsible for providing over-the-phone (OPI) and video remote interpreting (VRI) services to clients. Day-to-day tasks include accurately interpreting conversations between Farsi-speaking individuals and English-speaking individuals in diverse settings such as healthcare, legal, and customer service. Additionally, the Interpreter ensures confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and adherence to professional standards.QualificationsFluency in Farsi and English is mandatoryProficiency in over-the-phone (OPI) and video remote interpreting (VRI) is a plusExcellent listening, retention, and note-taking skillsStrong understanding of cultural nuances and linguistic differencesAbility to communicate accurately in high-pressure situationsExperience in healthcare, legal, or customer service interpretation is a plusStrong internet connection and reliable technology setup for remote workCertification in interpretation or related field is preferred
