ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Video Editor at Fièra Cosmetics, you'll play a vital role in supporting our video production needs and contributing to the growth of our brand. RESPONSIBILITIESConceptualize and execute video ads using approved video scripts, b-roll, spokesperson footage, creator content and stock footageIterate existing video ads based on performance learnings from the media buying teamEdit and enhance raw footage into compelling ads that align with brand persona, messaging and objectivesWork with the marketing and creative teams to ideate new angles, creative concepts that will promote our products in new waysCreate text animations and motion graphics Resize existing video ads to best accommodate other social media platforms (e.
g Instagram/Reels, Youtube/Shorts, Facebook/Stories)Follow and contribute to the development and updates of best practices documentation for various platformsMonitor all incoming assets submitted by creatorsKeep up-to-date on trends, resources and best practices in video editingContinue to learn about best practices in performance marketing, and keep an eye on what other relevant brands are doingWork on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and priorities effectivelyDemonstrate strong attention to detail in all work producedMaintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality and efficient workflowBe willing to receive coaching and be open to new ideas and techniquesQUALIFICATIONSTo excel in this role, you should possess:
Vast experience using video editing softwareA minimum of 2 years in a video editing role with a focus on paid media/direct response advertising Proficiency in one or more video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Experience creating engaging motion graphicsExperience in creating text animations and captionsStrong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlinesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsA creative mindset and a passion for storytelling through videoWhat's in it for you:
