Job Description

GAC Enterprises, LLC is a well-established construction company looking for a Fiber Splicing Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory requirements and safety standards. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. They will work closely with clients, and contractors, to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction, and will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Fiber Splicing Manager will focus on business development, creating and managing relationships with clients, cities, and municipalities. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This is a salaried position, with work times to be determined by the needs of the project and company. In addition, the Fiber Splicing Manager will receive and be responsible for a Company Vehicle, Cell Phone, Laptop, and Company Credit Card. All items are subject to audit and are to be used for the strict and sole purpose of performing job functions. RequirementsManage all aspects of construction and fiber projects from planning to completionSet project milestones and monitor progress toward goalsResolve conflicts and identify potential risks or issuesConduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standardsPerform bid pricing for new jobs and build new customer relationshipsPrepare project reports and present updates to clients and managementComplete and maintain accurate splice records, as-built maps, and other related documentationTroubleshoot problems with fiber networks and find effective solutionsTrain, mentor, and provide leadership to employeesWork with field supervision to manage project risk and give direction based on informationDeal with day-to-day customer interactions to ensure project needs are metIssue out work & coordinate with appropriate departments to ensure locates are requested and material pick lists are created Perform weekly audits on a project to verify progress, ensure quality, and meet forecast projectionsHold weekly Project overview meetings with the field teamAudit all project closeout packages to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables to the customer Ensure field personnel is adhering to all company policies and procedures Address the needs of the market or project and hire personnel or obtain resources accordingly Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance Be available for on-call dispatching for maintenance work.Travel as neededAdditional duties as assignedBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Employee Discount Program
