Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsOfficePosition SummaryThermo Fisher Scientific engages with partners from translational centers, biotech and pharma companies, hospitals, and academic institutions who play a key role in the R&D, process development, and commercialization of cell therapy programs. Encouraging relationships and providing technical support to our clients is a crucial aspect of our goal to enable our customers to improve global health, cleanliness, and safety. The successful candidate will serve as a technical expert on our cell therapy portfolios, providing pre/post-sales product support, leading seminars and demos, and running internal and external training as needed.Essential Duties And Responsibilities[Portfolio Support]Serve as a customer-facing technical expert, demonstrating intimate knowledge of products and familiarity with priorities and challenges in the field.Provide field and remote support to our sales organization by providing customers with hands-on technical guidance (pre- & post-sales activities).Lead and participate actively in the activities and experiments for collaborative projects, application development, and protocol validation in the laboratory.Deliver scientific seminars and host round table discussions.Develop and lead hands-on demos and training.[Business Enablement]Collaborate with global FAS teams, collaboration centers, R&D teams, and product management teams to serve as liaison between customers and business.Attend conferences and events to grow technical knowledge, collect developing trends, and support lead generation.Get along with marketing teams to drive new initiatives and develop customer-facing content.Minimum Experience And Skills RequiredPh.D. in biology, cell biology, immunology, or related field; or equivalent knowledge and industry/functional experience.Requires knowledge of one or more of these fields: the immunotherapy (CAR-T and NK) manufacturing process, viral vector production (LV and AAV), or applications of stem cell-based therapies (PSC and MSC).Requires basic experimental skills for cell culture and analytical solutions related to CGT.Be preferential to those who have prior practical experience with either culturing pluripotent stem cells or producing viral vectors.Must possess a strong understanding of customer challenges associated with a transition to the clinical workflow (scale-up, regulatory requirements, GMP manufacturing, etc).Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.Prioritize candidates with strong English proficiency for effective international communication.
