This position oversees the Human Resources function across the heart of our business, leading a team of Human Resources Business Partners who support our properties and operations teams.This is a hands-on, strategic role for an HR leader who thrives in a high-growth and entrepreneurial environment – someone who can build systems and processes, elevate the employee experience, and coach leaders to bring out the best in their teams. Working closely with Managing Directors, Learning & Development and Corporate HR, this person will help design and deliver the programs, tools, and culture that define our people experience at PS.We’re looking for someone who is inspired by the art of hospitality, energized by building high-performing teams, and motivated by the opportunity to help shape a people function for scale.Key ResponsibilitiesPeople LeadershipLead, develop, and inspire a team of HR Business Partners to deliver exceptional support to our field operationsBuild a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth within the HR field teamAct as a trusted advisor to Managing Directors and field leadership, ensuring alignment between business priorities and people strategiesCoach and empower leaders to elevate performance, engagement, and team cultureBuilding Systems & StructureParter with HQ and field leadership to design and implement scalable HR systems, policies, and processes that support rapid growthWork closely with in-house legal counsel on employment mattersDrive consistency across key HR functions, performance management and offboardingCollaborate with Corporate HR to ensure seamless communication and alignment on strategy, tools and initiativesIdentify and execute opportunities to improve efficiency, clarity, and employee experience across HR touchpointsEmployee Experience & DevelopmentChampion a people-first culture by supporting programs that enhance connection, recognition, and purpose across teamsEnsure that employee relations strategies are effectively implemented across the field business, maintaining compliance with employment laws and Company policies while addressing employee concerns promptly and fairly. Lead escalated employee relations investigations.Partner with Learning & Development to align training and career growth opportunities with business needsSupport talent review, succession planning, and leadership development efforts to build future-ready teamsAct as an advocate for employee engagement, inclusion, and wellbeing across all levels of the organizationEnsure compliance with all Federal, State and local lawsScaling for GrowthContribute to the design and execution of a field HR strategy that supports expansion and new property openingsCollaborate across HR, Talent, and Learning teams on initiatives that strengthen culture, elevate performance, and prepare the organization for its next stage of growthProvide insight to senior leadership on emerging people trends, organizational needs, and market opportunitiesPerform other related duties and projects as assigned Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field5-7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the luxury hospitality or service industries with at least 3 years in a field or multi-unit leadership roleDemonstrated experience managing a geographically dispersed teamBackground in luxury or lifestyle hospitality, or other service-oriented environmentsProven ability to build and lead effective HR teams in a dynamic, growth-oriented organizationStrong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, and organizational developmentExcellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skillsA balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with the ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced settingPassionate about hospitality, people development, and building meaningful workplace experienceEmployee Benefits Employee benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term and short-term disability.401K retirement plan with company matchingHealth and Dependent Care FSA and HSA with company matching.Unlimited PTOMonthly Health and Wellness, and cell phone reimbursementA great career path with promotion opportunitiesSalary Range: $135,000-150,000 AnnuallyJob TypeFull-time/hybrid (Monday-Friday) Work LocationPSHQ – Los Angeles
