Title: Field Sales & Education DirectorPackage: $150,000 + bonus + benefitsOverview: Refyne are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, purpose-driven professional beauty organization dedicated to inspiring creativity and empowering salon professionals worldwide. Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Director, Field Sales & Education to lead the development and execution of sales growth strategies, distributor partnerships, and education initiatives across professional salon channels.This position is ideal for a strategic and collaborative leader with extensive experience in sales, education, and team management within the beauty or salon industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth, optimizing field performance, and strengthening relationships with distributors and salon partners throughout North America.Key Responsibilities:Business StrategyDevelop and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans aligned with organizational objectives.Monitor key performance metrics and strategically allocate resources to achieve sales and profitability goals.Partner with internal stakeholders across Distribution, Education, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment on business priorities.Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing field sales and education team, driving KPIs such as door openings, field visits, education sessions, and event activations.Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor executives, influencing key business decisions and driving mutual growth.Oversee profit and loss performance to ensure healthy margins and sustainable brand expansion.Stay informed of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.Field StrategyOversee all field operations, including the management and development of territory and regional sales leaders.Design and implement effective territory coverage and prospecting strategies to drive new door acquisition and account retention.Set clear sales targets, track progress through reporting tools, and provide actionable insights to optimize performance.Plan and facilitate quarterly or bi-annual field meetings to foster engagement, alignment, and best practice sharing.Deliver comprehensive sales and product training to enhance team capability and customer engagement.Execute national promotional calendars while tailoring local activations and events to drive regional growth.Collaborate cross-functionally to develop impactful sales materials, presentations, and training content.Travel regularly (40–50%) to strengthen relationships, assess market needs, and support team development.Contribute to global expansion by providing strategic input on field operations and education best practices.Education StrategyLead, coach, and develop the professional education team to design and deliver impactful training programs that drive sales performance.Develop and oversee education curriculum, technical content, and business training to support product launches and strategic initiatives.Recruit, train, and manage freelance educators and brand ambassadors, ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards.Direct the planning and execution of regional and national training events to align education and sales objectives.Collaborate with marketing and distributor partners to ensure education programs amplify product launches and commercial goals.Requirements: 10+ years of progressive experience in field sales, education, or brand management within the professional beauty, salon, or consumer goods industry.Minimum 5 years in a leadership capacity, managing geographically distributed sales or education teams.Proven ability to develop and implement strategic sales and education plans with measurable business impact.Demonstrated success building and maintaining distributor relationships at senior levels.Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, budget management, and P&L oversight.Deep understanding of salon business dynamics, including door growth, promotional strategy, and product sell-through.Expertise in team performance management, KPIs, and field execution metrics.Experience leading education programs and developing freelance educator networks.Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative team player with experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, and Education.Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally as required.Proficiency in CRM and reporting tools; data-driven and tech-savvy.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).What’s on Offer:Opportunity to lead field sales and education strategy for a high-growth, purpose-driven beauty organization.Collaborative and entrepreneurial environment with a strong commitment to professional development.The chance to shape innovative, stylist-focused sales and education programs that drive brand success.A meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact within the professional beauty community.Ready to lead with confidence and make a real impact?Apply now to join a brand that celebrates individuality, champions fun, and knows that great results come from great people.To apply, please email your cv to Thomas Klein - thomas.klein@wearerefyne.com**Please note, due to a large volume of applications, we are unable to speak to everybody.
