About the Role Our client, a global leader in advanced manufacturing and industrial technology, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer (Regional) to join their Southeast Asia service team. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this position is responsible for providing technical support, equipment repair, installation, and customer training across the SEA region.The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with strong electrical and electronic expertise, capable of solving technical issues independently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electronic equipment both in-house and at customer sites across Southeast Asia.Conduct installation, calibration, and testing of systems to ensure optimal performance.Provide product training and technical support to customers, ensuring safe and effective use of company equipment.Support the repair center’s daily operations, including documentation, logistics, and report preparation.Promote service solutions and upgrades during customer visits to support business growth.Maintain test equipment and tools to ensure accuracy, reliability, and operational readiness.Gather customer feedback and installation data to support product improvement and service quality.Participate in continuous improvement projects and cross-department collaboration as assigned.General RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent).Experience: Minimum 3 years in electronics, field service, or industrial automation support.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, schematics, and components (e.g., IGBT, FPGA).Familiar with industrial manufacturing equipment or plasma generator systems (experience in solar, Low-E glass, or semiconductor industries is a plus).Language Proficiency:Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.Mandarin proficiency is required for communication with regional counterparts.Personal Attributes:Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.High integrity, responsibility, and customer orientation.Independent, proactive, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Mobility: Willing to travel frequently within Malaysia and across Southeast Asia for customer site assignments.How to apply:To apply online, please click on the appropriate link.
