Field Service Expert - Turbine Control

A Snapshot of Your DayAs part of planned inspections on different types of turbines all over the world, you will be responsible for the I&C part, recommission this part and optimize the associated parameter set. You are the local contact person for your area and present Siemens Energy to the customer with regard to your area of expertise.How You’ll Make An ImpactCarrying out inspections and recommissioning of the I&C components around the turbine both remotely and on site worldwideIndependent implementation of preventive and corrective service measures for turbine-related control technology on site at the customer's premisesImplementation of optimizing measures for the operation of the turbine during inspections and subsequent commissioningIncorporation of new, improved and revised logics into the control technology and their commissioningAnalyzing the problems encountered during their assignments and rectifying them directly on site or remotelyWhat You BringState-certified technician, bachelor or engineer in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or mechanical engineeringIdeally already basic knowledge of power plant automation systemsBasic knowledge of power plant technology, automation technology and tube control technologyInitial experience with gas and steam turbines and how they work desirableFluent written and spoken English is mandatory, German as an additional language is desirableWho is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
