Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Service Operations ManagerField Service Technician (80–100%)Your Role And ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you take on service tasks according to work instructions and in compliance with ABB’s quality and safety guidelines. Every day, you deliver outstanding customer service, plan and execute service work based on customer orders and expectations, and demonstrate your expertise by ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication of timelines and service expectations.Work model: Field ServiceBusiness area: Electrification, Service across SwitzerlandLocation options: Baden, Morges, or ZuzwilYour Main Responsibilities:Perform technical tasks at customer sites in the medium-voltage sector, with approximately 60% travel and hotel stays within Switzerland.Ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and cost targets in collaboration with service project management and field service leadership.Communicate necessary changes according to quality assurance standards, comply with work instructions, regulations, and safety standards, and submit time reports and expenses.Inform customers about the service offerings of ELSE and ABB Switzerland AG and support the acquisition of additional service orders.Your QualificationsCompleted training as an electrician or automation technician with several years of professional experience, ideally with additional knowledge in copper construction and mechanical processing.Solid expertise in electrical and automation technology, as well as experience operating mechanical equipment.Strong process affinity and a structured approach to working within defined workflows.Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly and in a customer-oriented manner.High level of quality awareness, personal responsibility, flexibility, and resilience.Proficient in MS Office; willingness to travel extensively and participate in on-call duties across Switzerland.Fluent in German, basic English skills (French is a plus); valid Swiss category B driver’s license.What We OfferWe want you to bring your ideas, energy, and ambition.
