Field Specialist - IV- Liner Hanger

Job Purpose JOB DESCRIPTION The Field Specialist IV applies advanced technical knowledge and field experience to perform and oversee a range of completion and liner hanger operations. This role involves running different types of Liner Hanger (LH) jobs, performing tool redressing in the workshop, and ensuring high-quality service delivery at the well site. The FS4 also serves as a key interface with clients, leading investigations, handling post-job packages, and providing mentorship to junior specialists.ResponsibilitiesExecute and supervise various Liner Hanger (LH) operations at the well site.Perform completion tools redressing and preparation, ensuring all QA/QC documentation is accurate.Manage receiving, dispatching, and asset inventory to maintain operational efficiency.Support post-job reviews and client discussions for investigations and service quality improvements.Ensure compliance with Weatherford’s HSE, Security, and Quality policies, promoting a strong safety culture.Provide leadership and guidance to junior specialists and workshop personnel.Drive continuous improvement in processes, equipment reliability, and service performance.SkillsStrong understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.Good command of mathematics, physics, and computer fundamentals.Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Excellent time management, communication, and decision-making skills.Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform accurate tool assemblies/redressing.Strong client interaction and reporting skills.Physically capable of performing field and workshop duties.Qualifications3–6 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with proven history running Liner Hanger jobs.High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.Technical/Vocational Certificate preferred.Solid workshop experience with Liner Hanger tool redressing.Ability to conduct client discussions, lead job investigations, and handle post-job packages.About UsWeatherford is a leading global energy services company.
