Our team provides support for customer operations to ensure continuity for production.Partner with the bestThe Field Service Specialist - Pressure Control provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.As a Field Service Specialist – Pressure Control, you will be responsible for:Performing on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair and calibration after installationResponding to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipmentProviding technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer's sites, developing and further expand technical knowledge and expertise, currently recognized industry standards for engineering abilityMaintaining knowledge of applicable product line warranties, and accomplish effective warranty administrationPlanning, preparing and/or instructing both internal and external training programs as required, to impart and perpetuate field engineering and/or product knowledge in area of specializationProviding leadership and technical direction to skilled labor performing work on customer sitesMaintaining strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within BH safety standardsPreparing timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future outagesFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Diploma or technical school for a certified college.Have at least 5 years’ experience in wellhead and Xmas tree installation & 3 years of experience in Offshore Services providing innovative, adaptive technical solutions and support to customers in Oil & Gas industryHave the ability to inspect equipment prior to it going offshore & Work closely with workshop teams to meet loadout deadlinesHave the ability to understand Technical drawings & Use of company e-tools to retrieve technical documents when requiredHave experience in Installing and maintaining Surface Wellheads and X/Tree's (Offshore): HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature); Metal to Metal, Quick Lock ConnectorsHave experience in Replacing Valve Seats & Gates (On location) , Carry out Wellhead Upgrades as per engineering Project Related Procedures (PRPs) / Field Service Manual (FSM) Able to fault diagnoseHave experience to perform field repair of valve actuator(s)Have experience to Use Hydraulic tools – pumps , running tools , bolting tools etcHave ability to work effectively with minimum supervision Train & lead New hires & self Competency focusedWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyoneWorking Hours: As per field requirement on call basisWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
