Our Completions Team partners with on-site operators and customers to provide support and guidance to ensure the capacity and value of the well is maximized to its full potential.Partner with the best!As a Field Supervisor - Wellbore Intervention, you will be responsible for:Under broad direction, is proficient in running most Wellbore Intervention applications in the district.Continues to expand and apply application knowledge and expertise to include applications of increasing complexity and/or risk in Wellbore Intervention and otherproduct groups.Ensures supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for job.Provides front-line support with customers and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job.Applies a commanding knowledge and seasoned experience to ensure the products and services are of the highest quality.Advises and troubleshoots on the most complex and critical issues in Wellbore Intervention in the district.Conducts on-the-job training as required. Handles special projects as assigned.Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical experience).Have a minimum of 12 to 20 years of experience in wellbore intervention, including fishing and whipstock operations.Have a proven background as a Field Supervisor or Senior Specialist in well intervention.Have a strong understanding of drilling, completion, and well integrity fundamentals.Have experience in planning, executing, and troubleshooting downhole intervention jobs.Be an expert in fishing tools and techniques (overshot, spears, magnets, junk baskets, etc.).Be proficient with whipstock systems (hydraulic, mechanical, and casing exit assemblies).Be skilled in milling, cutting, and retrieval operations (window milling, plug milling, packer recovery).Have a Knowledge of BHA design, torque and drag analysis, and hydraulics calculations.Competent in tool redress, maintenance, and failure analysis.Able to read and interpret well schematics, tubing strings, and surface systems.Understanding of pressure control equipment, fishing jars, and mechanical release systems.Familiarity with job documentation, reports, and operational data analysis.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
