Our 96,000 employees operate a network of 2,700 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.SGS Malaysia was established on 1971 with Head Office located in Shah Alam now.Consist of 37 offices, 10 laboratories with more than 1000 staff across MalaysiaJob DescriptionTo carry out fluid sampling and analysis duties at onshore and offshore locations within Malaysia and overseas as required.Responsible for interfacing with the client and producing detailed high-quality reports. He will also be responsible for pre and post-job equipment preparation, servicing, and calibration as required.Occasionally may be required to assist in the laboratory duties.Provide service on onshore and offshore analysis, including field sampling, wellsite analysis and/or PVT laboratory analysis.Be fully conversant with Group’s goals, objectives, strategy and business environment, Personnel and Equipment SchedulingAttend internal and external training where requiredPreparation and QC of reports for both field versions and final job reportsMaintain a quality and safety awareness cultureAdhere to SGS Code of Integrity policy and client confidentiality agreementAdherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior ManagementQualificationsMust be Sarawakian residing in BintuluDiploma in chemistry, engineering or related field from recognized institution.Or At least 1 to 2 years’ working experience in similar capacity.Additional InformationAble to understand the required test standard/procedures.Ability to work at odd hours when called uponGood communication and written skills in English and/or local language.Good personality, independent and a good team playerTroubleshooting and problem solverA self-starter with the qualities of a team playerSound technical knowledgeAttention to detailsDisplay high sense of responsibility and integrityThe Leadership Competencies required for this role are list below:Thinks StrategicallyTranslates Strategy into ActionsInfluences Internally & ExternallyDevelop Self and OthersCollaborates EffectivelyEmbraces ChangeDelivers Superior Results
