We believe powerful storytelling inspires action — and we’re looking for passionate film or media students who can bring real fundraising stories to life through creative visuals.About the RoleWe’re seeking Filmmaking & Media Interns to collaborate with our fundraisers and create short, documentary-style videos that highlight inspiring campaigns and real human stories. This internship offers hands-on experience in content production, storytelling, and social impact communication.Key ResponsibilitiesConnect with selected WhyDonate fundraisers to understand their campaigns and stories.Plan, shoot, and edit short videos (2–5 minutes) that showcase their journey, challenges, and impact.Capture authentic visuals and interviews while maintaining sensitivity to the subject matter.Collaborate with the marketing team to align videos with WhyDonate’s brand tone and message.Edit content suitable for multiple platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).Contribute creative ideas for new content formats and storytelling approaches.RequirementsCurrent student or recent graduate in Film, Media Studies, Journalism, or Visual Communication.Basic skills in video shooting, sound, and editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).Strong storytelling ability and an eye for emotion-driven content.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable engaging with diverse people.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.What You’ll GainHands-on experience producing real-world social impact stories.Portfolio-worthy videos featured on WhyDonate’s digital channels.Mentorship from the WhyDonate communications team.Internship certificate and potential long-term collaboration opportunities.How to ApplySend your CV, portfolio, or sample video links to swati@whydonate.com with the subject line: “Application – Filmmaking & Media Intern.”
