Finance & Supply Chain Manager – VietnamOverview:A leading multinational organization is seeking for a Finance & Supply Chain Manager based in Vietnam. This strategic leadership role is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance and supply chain operations within the country, ensuring compliance with local regulations while aligning with regional strategic direction.The position plays a pivotal role in providing country-specific insights and executing financial and SCM strategies in close collaboration with regional headquarters. As a trusted business partner to the Vietnam Country Manager, the individual will support business performance, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities:Finance Leadership & Business Planning:Lead preparation of country-wide consolidated budgets; provide timely reports to regional leadership.Monitor budget control processes and overall SGA expenses, identifying and reporting variances regularly.Deliver accurate financial forecasts, monthly and quarterly reporting to regional stakeholders.Ensure statutory compliance and timely filing of tax returns in line with local regulations.Financial Operations & Compliance:Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring alignment with local laws and international best practices.Drive implementation and maintenance of automated financial systems.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.Promote continuous improvement and harmonization of finance processes across the country.Supply Chain Management:Oversee all SCM functions including trade compliance, logistics, inventory control, and cost management.Ensure full adherence to local and international trade laws for import/export operations.Lead the development and execution of logistics strategies, including 3PL management and drop-shipment initiatives.Optimize supply chain processes to support business growth and cost efficiency.Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement:Provide strategic insights and counsel to country leadership on finance and supply chain matters.Act as a liaison between local teams and regional headquarters, ensuring two-way communication and alignment.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence and business performance.People Management & Development:Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.Coach direct reports and provide clear performance expectations and development plans.Projects & Initiatives:Support business improvement initiatives and transformation projects.Contribute to administrative enhancements and cross-functional initiatives as needed. Candidate Requirements:Experience:Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Finance and/or Supply Chain Management within a multinational or complex business environment.Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Strong operational understanding of logistics, inventory management, and trade compliance.Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Education & Certification:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) required.Vietnam Chief Accountant Certificate.Additional qualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain Management are highly desirable.Fluent in English.Personal Attributes:Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity.Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.Proactive, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.A team player and leader who inspires high performance and collaboration.Analytical thinker with a strategic mindset and hands-on execution capability.
