Finance Assistant

Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week in our Ballymena HQ, Co Antrim.Contract type: PermanentWe’re looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting our financial operations across the UK/NI, Australia, and the US.Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working closely with the CFO, you’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing finance team that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From payroll and reconciliations to credit control and reporting, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.This is a hands-on, varied role that’s perfect for someone who enjoys taking ownership, thrives on accuracy, and loves being part of a team that values efficiency, trust, and continuous improvement.What You Will DoPayroll for 3 companies (UK/NI, Australia and US)Monthly pension processingAssist in month end preparation ensuring processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner. To include bank reconciliations, deferred income, accruals and prepaymentsMaintain accounts receivable ledger - raising sales invoices, settlementsMaintain purchase ledger - matching supplier invoices to purchase orders, ensuring invoices are properly authorised, preparing payment run for authorisationCredit control and monthly debtor reconciliationMaintain fixed asset registerManaging employee expense reimbursement processManaging company credit cardsQuarterly Vat returnsResponding to customer enquiries effectivelySupport with Annual Audit processes Additional admin support within the team, as required.What We Are Looking For2 years experience in a similar role Competent in the use of accounts packages (such as Xero, SAGE etc)Strong IT skills, including working knowledge of a range MS Office or G-suite applicationsStrong interpersonal skills with ability to manage internal and external stakeholdersDesirable Experience -Its not a deal breaker, but ideally you will have:Part QualifiedWhy should you join PlotBox ?We have a clear mission - and a sense of pride in doing what we do - to ultimately lessen people’s pain at the most difficult time of their lives; this means a lot to our team.We are a global company with over 130 colleagues based across the UK, Australia and North America.
