Carlton Leisure is known for delivering efficient, timely, and high-quality travel services to valued customers from the UK and worldwide, in partnership with trusted travel providers.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a full-time, on-site Finance Associate (Travel Accounts) to join our Colombo office. The selected candidate will support the finance and accounts team with day-to-day accounting tasks, reconciliation, and financial reporting related to travel operations. The role requires accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to international financial operations in the travel industry and to grow within a supportive and professional organization.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting entries, reconciliations, and travel-related financial transactionsAssist with supplier and airline payment processingHandle customer invoicing and follow-up on paymentsSupport monthly financial closing and reporting activitiesMaintain accurate records and documentation for audits and complianceCoordinate with the UK-based finance team and internal departmentsPerform other finance-related tasks as requiredQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance (travel industry experience preferred)Basic knowledge of accounting principles and software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)Good command of English (written and spoken)Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skillsAbility to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and proceduresBachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMust be a team player with a positive and committed attitudePerks & BenefitsFriendly, supportive, and collaborative office environmentOpportunity to grow within the organizationExposure to international finance and travel industry operationsProfessional development and training opportunitiesCompetitive salary with performance-based incentives
