We are looking for a commercially focused and experienced Accountant who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and has an appetite for helping to drive future transformational change.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will directly support the Complex Care Division, assisting them to meet their financial challenges and provide influence and financial support. The role involves maintaining excellent working relationships with a wide range of Finance, Operational and Clinical stakeholders; at all levels and in a multi-site environment.The individual will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development and implementation of financial policies, which facilitate the achievement of the Health Board’s financial objectives.The post-holder will be expected to implement an annual budget setting process and to provide financial advice to all interested parties on a wide range of issues.Applicants should possess a good understanding of financial and governance requirements, have a good track record of managing a high performing team and have the ability to demonstrate wider business partnering skills.You will ideally have management and business partnering accounting experience in the NHS, or a similar large organisation; in an environment dealing with complex issues.
