Finance Director

My client is a highly successful Private equity backed, prestigious SME Consulting firm, who are looking to hire a new Finance Director reporting to the CEO. They are on an upward curve of double digit YoY growth with both organic growth and acquisition. Due to this continued expansion, they are hiring a new Finance Director to come on board to join their business.As the Finance Director, you will report to the CEO who is a highly successful leader with an incredible history of success in business. You will partner the CEO and senior management in driving the success of the organisation and this will be a broad role. You will be leading finance and the team in its entirety but striving to continually improve the function. This role will be highly commercial where the CEO and non-finance stakeholders will be looking for someone who will partner with them at the hip to drive commercial support, decision making and strategic insight. They have an outsourced finance function for transactional finance, payroll and basic accounting and you will also manage a separate team underneath you. This is a leadership role and due to the nature of this job, you will have lot of exposure to senior stakeholders so someone with strong communication skills and relationship building will be key. You will be involved in the growth of the business to support senior management on ad-hoc strategic projects which may, also include M&A. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to lead a function and build their skills in a hands-on, fast-growing and fast paced environment. You will be a qualified accountant who will ideally possess very strong commercial acumen in analysis, modelling, building revenue and margin, business partnering etc Sector experience is not a pre-requisite but someone from a Consulting, Professional services or Private Equity background would be advantageous. The role is paying a strong basic six figure salary, bonus and package with hybrid working. The company is based in Central London (zone 1)
