About The JobWe are looking for a strong finance executive with experience in finance and accountingResponsibilitiesRecord all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner, including cash books, payables, receivables, and payroll. Ensure proper journal entries, month-end and year-end closings in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.Prepare and present monthly management reports with detailed analysis of variances.Oversee statutory compliance, including preparation, validation, and timely payment/filing of taxes such as employment taxes, VAT, City Service Levy, and corporate income tax.Prepare, validate, and process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, compliance with local regulations and timely disbursement.Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including financial and regulatory audits (e.g., by the Central Bank), by preparing schedules and ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice validation, payment runs, collections, reconciliations, and vendor/customer query resolution.Maintain accurate records of company assets, liabilities, income, and expenditures. Ensure documentation and record-keeping aligns with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Manage financial operations including regulatory reporting, bank account administration, tax filings, coordination with auditors and tax consultants, and continuous process improvement.Ensure all company policies and board approvals are documented and compliant with Central Bank regulations.Handle company secretarial and compliance matters such as UBO declarations, annual returns to BRELA, and business license renewals.Support general administrative functions, including office procurement and travel arrangements.Requirements3–5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.Hands-on experience with audits and working with external auditors.CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance with strong relevant experience.Strong knowledge of IFRS and Tanzanian accounting standards.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Apply now
