Finance Manager - 4 to 6 month contract

We are working with a fast-growing Irish Manufacturing Group, based in Louth. They are looking for an experienced and qualified accountant to join their team on a 4 to 6 month contract as Finance Manager.Reporting directly to the CFO, the role will offer people management, and an opportunity to challenge existing processes and improve operations across the finance function.ABOUT THE ROLE:Main duties and responsibilities will include:Overall responsibility for the accuracy of financial reporting for the Group on a daily, monthly and annual basis;Assist in the on-going implementation of a robust and consistent management reporting processes across the business;Ownership of the monthly management reporting packs, board reporting packs and other key performance metrics;Maintain cash flow forecasts and develop cash flow projections, short and long-term;Establish new reporting controls and improve the existing controls environment; Ad-hoc projects as they arise. ABOUT THE PERSON:Qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 3+ years’ PQE in an industry role;Manufacturing experience in preferred;Previous Finance Transformation and Systems Implementation experience preferred;Flexible, confident and organised team player;Self-starter and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.This is an ideal role for someone looking for a short-term opportunity to add lasting value and gain valuable and broad experience.
