Finance ManagerLocation: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid: 2–3 days in office) Our client, a global organisation within the insurance and reinsurance sector, is seeking a qualified accountant to join their expanding finance team as Finance Manager.This is a newly created role introduced to support ongoing business growth and the increasing complexity of their finance operations. The successful candidate will lead a small team and play a key part in ensuring robust financial management, process improvement, and compliance across the group.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing international business and take ownership of a varied, high-impact finance role with excellent scope for progression.What’s on offer A highly competitive package including performance-related bonus, pension, generous annual leave, comprehensive health and wellbeing supports and a range of additional lifestyle benefits.Your RolePreparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly accounts, ensuring accuracy, control, and adherence to reporting standards.Overseeing general ledger balances, reconciliations, and financial controls, maintaining audit readiness.Partnering closely with teams across finance, actuarial, and commercial functions to support new transactions and business initiatives.Driving continuous improvement by streamlining processes and supporting system enhancements.Providing mentorship and development to trainee accountants within the team.Your SkillsQualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) with 4+ years’ PQE.Experience within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services.Background in audit advantageous.Strong understanding of IFRS, with IFRS 17 exposure an advantage.Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.Advanced Excel skills; SAP or similar system experience a plus.Should this position be of interest, please forward your CV to Aoife Davis in Abrivia Recruitment.
