Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit https://careers.accor.com/Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo! #BELIMITLESS"Job DescriptionOversee the daily operations of the Finance departmentDirect and coordinate hotel financial planning and budget management functionsMonitor and analyze monthly operating results against budgetDirect and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agenciesPrepare annual reports of actual revenues, transfers, and expensesAnalyze financial outlooks and prepare financial forecastsPrepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisionsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirementsEstablish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating proceduresMaintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department’s goals and objectivesServe as primary legislative liaison relative to company financial issuesDirect financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvementsConduct regular checks on procedures for purchasing, receiving, storing, issuing, food preparing and portioningInterview, select and recruit direct reportsIdentify and develop team members with potentialConduct performance review and manages performance issues that arise within the management teamConstantly monitor team members performance, attitude and degree of professionalismWork with Talent & Culture function to ensure appropriate hiring, training, motivating, coaching, counseling and development of team members according to the changing needs of the businessConduct monthly departmental meetings to provide information to team members, obtain their feedback, rectify issues and provide a regular forum for department communicationAttend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by managementMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesBe aware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the ManagementEnsure that both internal control as well as external expenditure must be properly recorded and handled with high integrity and honesty. QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Accounting / FinanceAdditional certificate as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be an advantageMinimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting position or 2 years of experience in a similar capacityHigh degree of professionalism with strong understanding of business acumenExcellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English languageProficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant financial and accounting reporting systemsAdditional InformationStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication and customer contact skillsResults and service oriented with an eye for detailsAbility to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situationsA team player & builderA motivator & self-starterWell-presented and professionally groomed at all timesFully conversant in accounting principles and financial regulation standards
