Job DescriptionAim of PositionThe Finance Manager role exists to provide professional works for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing also to provide supports to Regional Controller.Close communication within finance team with APAC region (Singapore) and Global / Corporate is expected.Tasks And ResponsibilitiesAccounting, statutory complianceEngage all Finance team activities and ensure smooth day-to-day running of the operationEnsure the month-end process is carried out in a timely and accurate mannerEnsure all statutory compliance, including payroll tax, social insurance; corporate tax; consumption tax; income tax; other insurancesLiaise with the external auditors and Tax consultantsLiaise with all relevant local authoritiesFinancial ManagementProvide timely and accurate feedback to the Regional ControllerContinuous review and, where appropriate, improvement of the Finance department systems and proceduresReportingProduce local revenue reportingProduce AR reportCash flow management and projectionsQualificationsFluent in both Japanese and English5+ years of experience to work for global Japanese companies/foreign affiliated companies preferablePossess good cross-cultural skills when communicating with overseas in EnglishGood verbal and written communication skillsExcellent all round accounting skillsSound computer skills, with a particularly high skill level in MS ExcelVery high accuracy skillsMust be highly numerical and analyticalStrong knowledge and understanding of relevant tax and company lawAbility to maintain a positive, motivational, “get things done” attitude, especially when faced with challenging situationsSound people skillsAdditional InformationOur BenefitsFlexible working environmentVolunteer time offLinkedIn LearningEmployee-Assistance-Program (EAP)About NIQNIQ is the world’s leading consumer intelligence company, delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior and revealing new pathways to growth.
