If you’re detail-focused, proactive, and confident working within financial systems and processes, we’d love to hear from you.The RoleAs part of our close-knit Finance and Operations function, you will work closely with the Operations and Finance Manager to ensure the smooth running of Aurora’s financial activities. Your key responsibilities will include:Inputting financial data, including client and supplier details, staff expenses and costs, via WorkflowMax and Xero.Supporting the efficient and timely raising of invoices, purchase orders, and supplier bills.Managing supplier and subcontractor information.Assisting with income and expenditure reconciliation in Xero.Supporting credit control activities and fixed asset management.Producing routine financial data reports for our Leadership Team and parent company, RSK Group.Supporting external audit preparations.Assisting with internal compliance activities, including ISO management systems, and providing support across general office operations where needed.This is a varied finance role that will allow you to build on your skills while contributing directly to the effective running of a mission-driven organisation.What You BringWe’re looking for someone who is:Experienced in a finance role with exposure to a range of transactional finance activities.Confident using Xero (or similar finance systems) and ideally WorkflowMax.Detail-orientated with strong numeracy, analytical and data-handling skills.Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing competing priorities.A strong communicator with experience handling sensitive information professionally.Competent with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Preferred but not essential:Experience working within ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards.An interest in developing skills in compliance, marketing, training support or wider business operations.Why Join Aurora?Competitive PackageUp to £30,000 annual salaryPrivate healthcare (after 1 year)Bonus scheme – if we do well, so do youLife cover and additional benefitsStudy SupportAvailable for part-qualified or aspiring professionals (AAT, CIMA, ACCA)Personal GrowthOpportunities to support wider business areas including compliance, marketing, R&D and training deliveryWork alongside industry-leading expertsA friendly, collaborative team where your contributions are valuedWhat’s it like working here?At Aurora, people come first.
