It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.Job DescriptionThe Finance function is responsible for activities related to the Accounting and Budget functions, in addition to payroll activities and Tax functions for the entire firm.Financial and Regulatory Reporting is responsible for the provision of timely, accurate, and reliable financial management information, and the running and enhancement of reporting systems that facilitate the production of this information. The Regulatory / Statutory Reporting focus specializes in capital adequacy reporting and all aspects of regulatory reporting. Provides required reporting to applicable regulatory bodies, and regulatory information for inclusion in board reports, news releases, and public financial reports.Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare timely and accurate reports for submission to regulators including SBV, CIC, DIV, NFSC etc.Calculate general and specific provision per SBV’s requirements.Calculate regulatory prudential ratios and safety limits.Follow up and resolve any problems/issues relating to regulatory reporting.Work with relevant report owners, data feeders ensuring required reports/data submitted timely and accurately.Participate in related enhancement and automation projects.Other tasks assigned by Reporting team lead and ERC Head.Job Qualifications2-5 years of previous experience required.Degree in Finance or Accounting.Candidates with experience on SBV reports under Circular 35 & 11 are preferred.Essential to have strong analytical and communication skills, along with an ability to work with stakeholders against tight deadline.Fair in spoken and written English.Control of deadlines for reports submission are needed.Advanced knowledge in excel.Additional RequirementsBe a Part of the UOB FamilyUOB is an equal opportunity employer.
