Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.Exceptional benefits: On top of a competitive salary (based on your location, experience, and skills), we provide a comprehensive benefits package to enable holistic well-being for you and your family.Your ImpactIn this role you will be a thought partner to client service teams as well as internal stakeholders and members of leadership, providing deep analytical support to manage the economics throughout the full engagement lifecycle (ensuring appropriate budgeting, revenue recognition, and billing/accounts receivable).You will also provide critical forecasting and analyses while making appropriate recommendations, in a variety of environments, including 1:1 conversations with relevant stakeholders.As a Finance Specialist within the broader North American team, you will help to identify areas of opportunities, lead small projects and initiatives focused on performance and efficiency, while ensuring compliance with firm finance policies.Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc analyses and regional/global special project support as needed.You will nurture an increasing network and connectivity within the financial and office community by maintaining a body of knowledge and expertise, including communicating the impact of changing practices and policies; collaborating with internal colleagues for process improvement and problem-solving; and mentorship and professional development support of junior colleagues.You will be an essential member of our North America Client Finance team, working directly with finance managers, client service team leaders and colleagues within client finance and across several administrative functions within the firm.You will be a member of the North American team of 40+ accountants, senior accountants, and specialists, reporting to a North America Manager of Finance.You will also build strong relationships with client service teams to steer the economics of client engagements in line with policy to ensure financial accuracy.You will be required to partner most closely with the c-suite level equivalent client service team leaders in a variety of communication avenues, including email, phone and videoconference. In-office presence is expected for all colleagues.Your Qualifications and Skills4-year university degree in accounting, finance or related discipline7+ years of finance and/or accounting experienceExcel proficient (pivot tables, IF statements, vlookups, conditional formatting)Excellent project management skills; ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple/ambiguous tasks simultaneouslyCollaborates effectively with others; communicates in a clear, persuasive way which resonates with others, to command an audienceFirst-rate organizational ability and keen attention to detailExperience in a professional services environment, working with various functions and colleagues at all levels preferredDeep technical / functional knowledge as relevant (e.g., finance, accounting, audit, cash management, tax), emerging Spike in at least in one areaAble to inspire, guide, and support peers to achieve goals while managing individual needs and dynamics
