Financial Accountant

We are looking for a “Financial Accountant” for our client operating in the “yeast and biotech” industry. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or Turkish CPA) is preferred.2+ years of finance/accounting experience in Turkey, with knowledge of local tax regulations and TAS/IFRSProficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS ExcelFluent in English (business-level)Strong attention to detail and analytical Job Description Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Turkish Accounting Standards (TAS)Complete all accounting tasks in SAP on time and perform reconciliations as requiredPerform monthly bank reconciliations and clear accounts receivable and payable balancesCoordinate with the accounting firm each month to review the accuracy of bookkeeping under Turkish accounting standardsCommunicate with the accounting firm and provide the required data for tax filing in a timely mannerProvide payroll data to the accounting firm for the calculation and declaration of social security contributions and individual income tax.
