DESCRIPTION Role: Finance Associate (Hybrid)Reporting to: Finance Senior Accountant / Financial ControllerBasis: Permanent, full-time Location: Nicosia, CyprusPOSITION SUMMARY:Reporting to the Finance Senior Accountant and Financial Controller this role will be responsible for maintaining Accounts Payable, Cash management, month-end schedules and month end processes for entities under Finalto Group. The main day-to-day responsibilities will include booking of purchase invoices for regulated trading entities, sales invoices, bank transactions and reconciliations, related bookkeeping tasks, entity accruals and prepayments. The role will be suited to a very hands-on individual within a busy but varied Finance Team. There is also the opportunity to improve processes and system controls and work as part of a team to introduce additional automation as the Group continues to grow.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Perform general ledger bookings for group entities.• Perform banks and vendors reconciliations.• Perform daily reconciliations of client funds including banks accounts, ledgers and platform balances.• Validating bi-monthly payment run for vendor invoices and booking bank transactions to general ledger.• Daily reconciliations of multi-currency bank accounts for group entities.• Maintaining schedules including accruals, prepayments, intercompany reconciliations and Fixed Assets register.• Assisting in year-end external and internal audits.• Undertaking any other related tasks assigned by management.REQUIREMENTS:• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or another related field.• Strong problem-solving skills.• A positive attitude and good team-work skills. • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills (written and oral).• Good at relationship building and influencing.• Conscientious with attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks and deliver output.• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel.• Knowledge and good understanding of accounting and general ledger systems.• Financial services industry experience will be considered as an advantage. BENEFITS:• Hybrid working model• Provident fund• Breakfast provided during office days• Work from home equipment• Medical after probation
