FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANTLocation: Clark, Pampanga (Onsite)Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PHT Unlock your potential! About this role…The Financial Accountant manages end-to-end accounting process and are responsible for analysing, finalising and reconciling accounting and financial transactions. You will also be providing reports, business process improvements and other ad hoc requirements.Key Responsibilities:Responsible in preparing monthly journal entries such as expense allocations, prepayments, accrual recognition and management report preparation.Prepares balance sheet reconciliation schedules and other monthly account reconciliations, propose adjusting entries and ensure correctness and integrity of financial data Maintains fixed asset register with lapsing schedule for depreciation for all fixed assets Assist with the reconciliation of tax transaction general ledger accounts (including Income Tax & FBT).General ledger maintenance Assist in preparation of Financial Statements such as Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Profit & Loss and Statutory Reporting to ASX and ASIC.Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures Daily bank reconciliation for all bank accounts and for all entities Developing and implementing business process improvements Ad hoc requirements falling under general & tax accounting functions Opportunity to be part of client projects (including IPOs, ESS, R&D, capital raises);Assist with budgeting and forecasting; Qualifications / Skills:1-2 years' experience in internal finance, audit or management accountant roleCA or CPA qualified (or working towards).Experience in an Australian Accounting setting.Graduate of bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Taxation law or any related course Strong knowledge in end-to-end accounting process Proficient in MS Office applications Preferably with high-level skills in accounting software such as Xero Excellent written and oral communication skills Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills A quick-learner and highly-independent individual Excellent attention to detail; andWillingness to learn and embrace the life science industry.
