They offer a variety of tax and accounting services focused on cross border business expansion as well as tax services for U.S. persons living abroad. They provide a high level of personable service and a unique approach to meeting their clients tax and accounting needs. Our client team is passionate about innovative ways to provide service delivery to their specialized client base located throughout the world.ABOUT THE ROLEAs an ideal candidate, you’re an experienced accounting professional with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in tax, accounting, and advisory services. You thrive in an environment built on inclusion, trust, and collaboration — and you’re excited to play a key role in driving the firm’s next stage of growth.In this role as Accounting Services Manager, you’ll take ownership of the accounting services function and help expand this critical area of the business. You’ll combine hands-on accounting work with strategic leadership — starting by managing client engagements, performing reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. As the practice grows, you’ll step into a broader leadership capacity, building and guiding a team, refining processes, and championing service excellence across the firm.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting review for multiple US-based clients.Prepare, review, and reconcile financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.Provide financial insights and advisory support to clients, including process improvements and best practices.Lead client communication and onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and excellent client experience.Utilize tools such as Reach Reporting or Fathom to develop and communicate actionable financial insights.Set up and maintain QuickBooks Online, Xero, and related app integrations.Manage e-commerce accounting integrations (Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, PayPal, A2X, etc.).Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and relationship management.Lead and manage the accounting team, including training, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews.Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and ensure consistency across processes.Continuously improve systems, workflows, and service delivery processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.Support the creation and delivery of engaging webinars on key technical topics (e.g., accounting and cross-border business) that position the firm as an innovative thought leader and strengthen overall marketing strategy.Collaborate with leadership to develop and grow a new accounting service area, helping shape strategies that expand the firm’s presence in the cross-border business space and contribute to its mission as a fast-growing, modern accounting firm.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or any related field; CPA preferred.Strong accounting background, including experience working with or for US-based firms and a solid understanding of US GAAP.Proven leadership experience in managing teams, mentoring, training, and overseeing performance.Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero (certifications strongly preferred).Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting processes.Experience with third-party app integrations, especially for e-commerce and reporting tools.Ability to interpret data and present actionable financial insights to clients.Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for direct client interaction.Leadership mindset with the ability to build, manage, and scale a growing team.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Reliable, stable and high-speed internetA dedicated, private workspace that is free from distractions, ensuring confidentiality and optimal focus on tasks.DESCRIPTION OF IDEAL CANDIDATEAdaptable & Proactive: You thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities shift and new challenges arise.
