Financial Accountant (US MNC)

We're looking for a Financial Accountant with experience in the Corporate Accounting function of a multinational organisation, and is knowledgeable in US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP for APAC countries. Responsibilities:Manage processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, including P&L, Balance Sheet and variance analysisManage centralized processes that impact multiple International entitiesSupport the Finance team in design, testing and roll-out of financial reporting systems/tools/processesInitiate, lead and manage process improvement projects to build for scaleReview the work of our outsourced partnersMaintain strong relationships with cross-functional business partners within and outside Finance to execute Corporate Accounting's objectives, providing support to finance management were required including ad hoc financial analysis or special projectsRequirements:Recognized accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA)8 years of working experience preferably with APAC region exposureExcellent team player who is very comfortable working as part of a larger team located in different locationsRelevant industry experience with large, fast-growing, multi-national companySolid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP (APAC countries)Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in ExcelExcellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skillsOrganized and thorough with desire for continuous improvementExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Preferred QualificationsBig 4 experience highly preferredExperience working with an ERP system such as Oracle, SAPRelated industry experienceThis is a contract role based in Singapore.
