You will be exposed to various departments and projects, allowing you to develop a deep understanding of Allianz’ operations and strategic goals in Central Europe. Throughout the programme you will work closely with seasoned professionals and receive mentorship from trusted colleagues.The TeamAn actuary is a business professional who deals with the measurement and management of risk and uncertainty; provides assessments of financial security systems, with focus on their complexity, mathematics and mechanisms. The art of knowing how much an event would cost before it happens! Accurate estimation is the first step to great achievements in every aspect of our life.ResponsibilitiesProvide support on data preparation and data analysis in Excel, SQL, Power BI, R or PythonAnalysis and simulations for valuation of various financial parametersContribution to projects for portfolio management and products developmentParticipation in monthly, quarterly and annual routines for setting reserves andreportingCooperation with other financial departments, product development and claimsContribution to the Allianz Regional and Group networkKey requirements/What you bringExcellent University degree in Applied Mathematics and/or Informatics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Insurance or similarStrong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skillsExcellent computer literacy (MS Office), Database management,programming knowledge (R, Python, VBA)Curiosity and willingness to develop advanced practical skills as actuarial / pricing actuary in leading international insurance companyInterest in working in a diverse environment with international exposureEagerness to learn and ability to perform tasks independentlyProficiency in local & English language is requiredDemonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organizationPotential RotationsRotations are a key element of the Graduate Programme and the final agenda and the duration of rotations will be agreed between you and your hiring manager. In this role they may consist of the following business functions/areas:Pricing actuariesProduct DevelopmentUnderwriting and policy managementSalesClaims managementMarket Management
