Our OpportunityChewy is seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and customer focused Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in our Plantation, FL headquarters or our Bellevue, WA office. Combining an understanding of finance, strong practical knowledge of financial statements, and showcasing the ability to analyze data in an impactful way, this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to drive decision-making and ensure Chewy’s financial goals are achieved.What You’ll DoSupport the preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis packages for senior leadershipPartner with the Senior Financial Analyst to track financial performance, explain variances, and identify risks and opportunities versus planMaintain and enhance recurring financial models, dashboards, and supporting schedules to improve forecast accuracy and streamline reportingAssist in the preparation of presentations and materials for executive and board-level audiencesCollaborate with team members and cross-functional leaders, to ensure data accuracy and alignment across financial deliverablesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to simplify reporting processes, enhance data automation, and reduce cycle timesEffectively manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environmentWhat You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field0–2 years of progressive finance experience (including internships or full-time roles) with exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, or forecastingStrong understanding of financial statements and analytical problem-solving skillsProficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (VLOOKUP/Index Match, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, etc.)Strong PowerPoint and data visualization skills (Excel/PowerPoint dashboards, Tableau, etc.)Exceptional attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive mindsetAbility to work under pressure and to deal with rapidly changing operating conditions, while still delivering to expectationsAbility to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environmentBonusExperience with Hyperion SmartView, Tableau, Oracle ERP, SQLFamiliarity with e-commerce or retail business modelsChewy is an equal opportunity employer.
