Job Description

We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will act as a key business partner across multiple departments, offering financial insights, accurate analysis, and performance reporting to support informed business decisions.This role is instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting Tekla’s profitability and growth objectives.Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role will support the function in completing a range of ad hoc financial projects and tasks.Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Act as a finance business partner to cross functional teams, including Commercial, Operations, Brand and Marketing, and Retail.Collaborate with teams across the business to provide analytical insight and financial guidance.Conduct detailed profitability and cost analyses across products, projects, and retail channels, identifying key drivers of performance and opportunities for growth.Develop and maintain financial dashboards and performance reports that monitor key metrics, highlight trends, and communicate insights effectively to management.Perform variance and accuracy analyses to validate forecasts, budgets, and data integrity, encouraging transparency and accountability.Investigate material variances and implement process improvements that enhance forecasting precision and analytical rigour.Support project tracking and analysis, offering financial oversight and progress evaluations.Monitor and report on retail performance, developing and tracking KPIs such as sales productivity, conversion rates, and operational efficiency.Partner with the Supply Chain team to complete procurement and supplier cost analyses, identifying opportunities for efficiency and savings.Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing financial processes, systems, and reporting tools.Participate in the budgeting and forecasting cycle, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with strategic goals.Assist with internal audits and compliance activities, upholding high standards of financial governance.We'd love to hear from you if you are / have: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.Relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar analytical role.Strong skills in Excel and Power BI or similar visualisation tools.Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Business Central is an advantage.An innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.High attention to detail and confidence managing multiple priorities.Proven cross functional collaboration and business partnering experience.Understanding of consumer behaviour, brand experience, and retail dynamicsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.Comfortable in an open plan and curated workspace, aligned with the company’s norms and values.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Danish.This is a full-time role based in Copenhagen. We will review applications and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, with the aim for the successful candidate to join us in February.
