The Finance Assistant plays a key role in supporting the finance team by ensuring accurate record-keeping, smooth processing of financial transactions, and timely preparation of essential financial documentation.ResponsibilitiesAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.Prepare, check, and process invoices, expense reports, and payments.Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.Support the month-end and year-end closing process.Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.Assist in preparing basic financial reports and summaries.Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters.Provide general administrative and clerical support to the finance team.What You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldProficiency in Microsoft excel, G-suiteStrong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.Fluent in both written and verbal EnglishExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage, prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments without compromising quality or serviceAbility to work collaboratively in an international environmentGreat PlusExperience working in NGOs, research institutions, or consultancy firmsWhat we offer to make your work-life awesome! 🌟:🏖️ 3 extra holiday days than your PTO (your paid time off as stipulated by Greek law)🤓📚 3 personal learning days per annum with a 100€ company contribution🤝🌍 2 volunteer days off per annum to be used at another organization🌐✈️ Hybrid work model: One remote day per week💪🏥 Private health insuranceRecruitment process1st Interview: with the CFO/HR Manager2nd Interview: with the CEO & CFO/HR ManagerPlease apply no later than 20th October 2025
