Location: Cairo, EgyptExperience Level: 6-8 YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Financial Consultant (Manager) to lead and manage our new Cairo office. The role involves establishing the office, leading the Cairo team, and providing technical support to our Saudi Arabia team to deliver high-quality financial, accounting, tax, and management consulting services to our clients.This position requires deep expertise in financial consulting, accounting, taxation, and management, with a strong understanding of the Saudi business environment and the ability to manage operations in Egypt. The ideal candidate should have 6-8 years of experience in management consulting, financial advisory, or accounting consulting, preferably in a professional services environment, with a proven track record in team leadership and establishing new operations.General Objective of the RoleThis role aims to enhance the operational efficiency of Ithmar Financial Consulting by activating the Cairo office as a strategic back-office support center. It contributes to achieving objectives related to quality assurance, growth, and expansion through commitment to the following key responsibilities:Directing and managing back-office operations in Egypt with high efficiency.Overseeing employee performance and enhancing their efficiency and productivity to support Ithmar’s activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Managing relationships with partners at the Saudi headquarters and ensuring continuous collaboration to guarantee integrated and clear support mechanisms.Ensuring the timely delivery of reports and services to clients with a quality level aligned with required standards, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislations.Contributing to business development and governance enhancement by participating in the formulation of company strategies.Developing an institutional excellence framework to support growth and expansion in the Saudi market, achieving Ithmar’s objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Activities: Contribute to formulating growth strategies for the Cairo office, including identifying future expansion opportunities and developing plans to enhance support for Saudi services such as economic feasibility studies and GRC consulting, with a focus on decisions that boost quality and expansion.Policies / Systems / Procedures / Processes: Develop and implement internal office policies aligned with Ithmar’s standards, such as quality assurance procedures for financial reporting and compliance reviews for IFRS and VAT, with periodic process reviews to improve efficiency.Budgeting (if applicable): Prepare and monitor the office’s annual budget, including resource allocation for training and analytical tools, ensuring adherence to financial limits to support growth without overspending.Daily Operations: Oversee daily operations such as drafting financial reports, conducting tax analyses, and supporting internal audits, ensuring timely delivery of outputs to Saudi teams.Specific Job Responsibilities: Lead back-office support projects for services like REGA project account reviews and financing studies, making critical decisions to resolve financial issues.Human and Material Resource Management: Recruit and train teams, evaluate performance, and manage material resources such as financial software and systems, focusing on building team capabilities to support quality.Internal Contacts: Communicate with the CEO and teams in Jeddah/Riyadh.Periodic Reports: Prepare monthly reports on office performance, output quality, and contributions to growth objectives, including financial analyses for the CEO.External Responsibilities: Represent Ithmar at Egyptian financial consulting events, focusing on building partnerships for future expansion.Continuous Improvement: Lead improvement initiatives such as implementing new financial analysis tools, with effectiveness measurements to enhance quality.Safety, Quality, and Environment: Ensure compliance with international quality standards across all operations, applying secure data and office environment practices.Coordination with Other Departments/Sections: Daily coordination with support departments in Jeddah/Riyadh to ensure smooth operational flow.QualificationsRequired Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a preference for a Master’s degree in Business Administration or Finance.Required Experience: 6-8 years in financial or accounting consulting within major consulting firms (e.g., Big 4), with experience leading back-office support teams and knowledge of Saudi standards like SOCPA and IFRS.Required Language: Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).Professional Certifications and Courses: CPA or ACCA or equivalent; courses in leadership, project management, and IFRS; preference for CIA or CRMA for consulting aspects.Competencies and Personal AttributesStrong leadership skills with the ability to make strategic decisions.Deep financial background with a focus on quality and compliance.Problem-solving skills and the ability to drive growth and expansion.Personal attributes such as commitment, innovation, and effective communication to support company objectives.BenefitsCompetitive salary with performance-based bonuses.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Dynamic and collaborative work environment focused on cross-border cooperation.
