We’re passionate about combining human expertise with automation and analytics to help clients make smarter, faster decisions.As we expand our Finance Hub, we’re seeking an experienced Financial Controller with strong FP&A and business partnering experience to play a key role across our client portfolio.The RoleThe Financial Controller will take ownership of financial management, forecasting, and performance insight across a portfolio of Rhomu’s outsourcing clients.You’ll act as a finance business partner — working directly with client leadership teams to interpret performance, drive profitability, and support strategic decision-making. This is a hands-on role with a blend of financial control, commercial analysis, and team leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Leadership & Business PartneringServe as lead finance partner for a portfolio of SME and mid-market clients.Prepare and present monthly management accounts, forecasts, and performance dashboards.Provide strategic financial insight — highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.Support budgeting, scenario modelling, and rolling forecasts.Partner with client CEOs, MDs, and operational leads to drive margin improvement and cash management.Implement data-driven decision support through tools such as Power BI, Excel models, and integrated reporting packs.Financial ControlOversee the month-end process, ensuring completeness and accuracy of management accounts.Maintain strong control environments and consistent accounting processes across clients.Review reconciliations, journals, and balance sheet positions prepared by Rhomu accountants.Manage multi-entity consolidations where required.Team Leadership & Process ImprovementSupervise and mentor Rhomu accountants and trainees supporting client accounts.Ensure high-quality outputs and adherence to Rhomu’s delivery standards.Contribute to process automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement projects.Support onboarding of new clients and design of bespoke reporting frameworks.Skills & Experience RequiredQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA).Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in the Irish market.Strong background in FP&A, management reporting, and business partnering.Proven ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights for non-finance stakeholders.Experience in outsourced finance, multi-entity, or fast-growth SME environments preferred.Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; exposure to Power BI or similar analytics tools a plus.Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging at senior levels.Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple clients concurrently.YOU MUST have relevant experience in the IRISH market.What We OfferCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience).Performance-based bonus scheme.Hybrid working model (mix of remote, Rhomu HQ, and client-site work).Exposure to diverse industries and dynamic, growing clients.Professional development and CPD support.Collaborative, forward-thinking environment with a strong culture of innovation and local impact.How to ApplySend your CV and a short cover letter to careers@rhomultd.com
