Financial Controller

Salary- £70,000 to £80,000About the BusinessAn opportunity to become a Financial Controller for an international manufacturing company based in Kidderminster. This is a hands-on role that will give you experience within a growing, innovative UK-leading business that values quality and sustainability. Main Duties:As a Financial Controller, your main duties include:Provide strategic and operational support to the Finance Director.Play a central role in major finance initiatives, including business acquisitions and integrations.Oversee all financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, payments, and payroll processing.Manage and develop a multidisciplinary finance team, covering Credit Control, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Management Accounting.Lead, coach, and inspire team members to achieve high performance and professional growth.Partner with senior executives and actively contribute to key financial and strategic decisions.Drive efficiency by implementing process improvements and upgrading financial systems.Produce accurate, insightful monthly management accounts across multiple business units.Lead the preparation of statutory year-end accounts and coordinate external audits.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in partnership with senior leadership.Manage VAT returns, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and other ad hoc financial reports.Provide ongoing support to the Group Finance Director and act as deputy during periods of absence. Location / Office / CultureThis is a well-established, growing business based in Kidderminster, offering a collaborative and supportive culture. The role is hybrid, typically with three days a week in the welcoming office.
