Financial Controller Co. MeathThis is a key role within a growing organisation, overseeing day-to-day financial operations, supplier and subcontractor accounts, payroll, and management reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier and subcontractor invoices.Oversee weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations (PAYE, PRSI, RCT, VAT).Prepare bank reconciliations, manage cash flow, and assist with month-end and quarterly close processes.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, reconciliations, and reports for management.Liaise with project and site teams to track project costs and support accurate financial reporting.Identify and implement process improvements within finance operations.Support senior management with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and decision support.Skills & Experience RequiredQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).Strong background in operational finance including AP and Payroll Excellent knowledge of VAT and ROSStrong communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise effectively across finance, operations, and senior management.High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
