Financial Controller

A leading travel company based in SW London is currently looking for a Financial Controller to join their team. Reporting into the VP Finance, this role will oversee all financial operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls across our global operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to contribute to the growth and stability of the company.Key Responsibilities:Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAPManage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processesMonitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance across multiple regionsEnsure compliance with local tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policiesImplement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management strategiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and IT to support business objectivesLead, develop, and mentor a team of finance professionalsSupport external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory authoritiesSkills/Requirements: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with proven experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller Experience in a multinational company, preferably in travelStrong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial regulations across different jurisdictionsProficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; Leadership experience with ability to motivate and manage teams remotely
