This is an exciting opportunity to shape the financial strategy and reporting of a fast-growing, high-impact digital learning company, ensuring robust financial governance while supporting aggressive growth and global expansion initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & StrategyLead the end-to-end finance function, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Partner with executive leadership to develop strategic financial plans aligned with Simplilearn’s growth trajectory and investment strategy.Drive financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business decisions, M&A, and new product initiatives.Financial Reporting & ComplianceEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with statutory regulations and IFRS/GAAP standards.Implement strong internal controls and compliance frameworks to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.Oversee audits and maintain transparent communication with investors, stakeholders, and auditors.Operational Finance & Business PartneringMonitor cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure to ensure financial sustainability during periods of rapid growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, operations, and product to provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.Evaluate investment proposals, pricing strategies, and cost optimization initiatives to maximize profitability.Team Leadership & DevelopmentBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.Drive continuous process improvements and automation within the finance function to support scale and efficiency.What We’re Looking ForProven experience as Financial Controller in a fast-growing, high-growth company or multinational environment.Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.Hands-on experience managing multi-location finance operations, ideally in technology, ed-tech, or SaaS companies.Expertise in IFRS/GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and investor reporting.Strong leadership skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams.Exceptional communication and influencing skills, capable of presenting complex financial insights to senior leadership and investors.Comfort working in a dynamic, high-growth environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
