Job DescriptionAbout the RoleThe Lead Financial accountant will support the team members with technical related questions and issues, also support people in different functions such as tax, group accounting when it comes to financial controlling, technical accounting matters.Purpose Of The Roleto ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes, the timely and accurate submission of the financial & statutory reportto give technical accounting support within his/her own discipline to the FC team,partner with the RTR team to ensure the information in the legal entity financial statements accurately and completely reflects our business operationsto support the decision-making process with different financial controlling analysis,to ensure that the policies and procedures are understood and followed in the team and act as advisor to other GBO group function teamsto support internal and external auditsto act as the company's liaison officer and statutory contact in Vietnam including signing off as Chief Accountant of the companyKey AccountabilitiesPerform month end close responsibilities including journal entry preparation, supports the reconciliation process (e.g. accounting guidance and ensuring proper backup information and data in alignment with PCAOB requirements)Support delivery of monthly management reporting processes (various BPM reports, landing report, O&R, Extended WC and cash flow reporting and forecasting,) also prepare deck for the related review meetingsPrepare financial & statutory reports and oversee the statutory adjustment and transfer pricing processEnsure that financial & statutory processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with the internal (CARM) and external requirementsUnderstand, interpret, and implement Group Accounting and Reporting requirements; communicate requirements to the rest of the Financial Control team and to relevant teams in GBOSupport the FAC process, provide analysis for the FAC completionQualifications And Experience RequiredDegree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ businessQualified accountant (CA or ACCA certified)4-5 years’ experience in relevant areaExperience working within an international / multicultural environmentExemplary Risk Management (Internal Controls, Managing Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics)Strong Financial Controlling knowledge (Balance sheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)Strong analytical skills to be able to see and understand the big picture and deliver high level message, offering solutions for issuesStrong command of the English languageWorking with usFlexibility is key to success.
