If you’re ready to help shape the future of finance, Paynetics is where your work will make a difference on a global scale.We are looking for our accounting team a highly skilled Financial Data Expert (with SQL) to manage, analyze, and optimize financial data across our core and back-office systems. In this role, you will design and refine SQL queries, ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial datasets, and support key reporting and reconciliation processes. You will work closely with finance, data, and IT teams to enhance data quality, streamline data flows, and provide actionable insights that support critical business decisions.What You'll Be Doing:Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to support financial data extraction, transformation, and analysis.Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple financial systems and data sources.Validate, reconcile, and investigate financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve data quality issues.Deliver accurate, timely datasets that support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles.Partner with finance, data, and IT teams to enhance data models, streamline workflows, and improve system integrations.Document data processes, business logic, and data mappings to ensure transparency, scalability, and audit readiness.Monitor and maintain data pipelines, proactively addressing performance bottlenecks or quality concerns.Create, escalate, and manage tickets related to financial data issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication.Our Requirements & Skillset:University degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldStrong SQL expertise, including query optimization and handling large datasets3+ years of experience in accounting operations or financial data managementStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work with large data volumesFamiliarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, or reporting tools is an assetAbility to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work autonomously in a fast-paced environmentVery good English - both speaking and writingWe offer:Exciting job in a premium professional environmentHighly competitive remuneration25 days annual paid leave + 1 day for your birthdayWork in a growing team with excellent perspective for professional developmentAdditional Health InsuranceVouchersCompany TrainingsTeam buildings and sports activitiesHybrid model of work & excellent office location near a metro stationFor details on how Paynetics AD processes your personal data during the recruitment process, please refer to our Privacy Notice for Candidates Applying for Positions with Paynetics AD here: [https://www.paynetics.digital/notice/]
