Financial Director

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of financial strategies.Partner with the CFO and executive leadership to support strategic planning, M&A, and investment initiatives.Drive transformation, automation, and continuous improvement.Oversee financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence for M&A opportunities.Manage and monitor investment portfolios, ensuring optimal returns and controlled risk exposure.Ensure robust liquidity management and efficient treasury operations.Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating financing terms and services.Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring adherence to UAE and international regulations.Develop effective tax strategies to optimise the organisation’s fiscal position.Streamline and automate financial processes for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.Establish and track key financial KPIs to support decision making and operational improvement.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance teamFoster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learningIdentify and mitigate financial and operational risks.Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external reporting requirements.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, CFA) preferred.Minimum 10 years’ experience in corporate finance or senior leadership roles, with proven exposure to M&A, treasury, investments, and financial governance.Strong analytical, strategic, and commercial acumen with the ability to influence at board level.
