Let’s build the future of mobile telecommunications together!About the Role:This position plays a critical role in the financial success of a significant company project. Working collaboratively within a team, you will be responsible for driving detailed financial control and actionable analysis across the entire offer-to-cash cycle. This involves not just gathering data and insights, but actively doing the work to provide crucial intelligence to management on performance, proactively identifying potential issues, and directly contributing to solutions that propel the project towards its objectives. Your work will directly support strategic decision-making and ensure a robust understanding of the project's financial health, requiring a hands-on mentality to dive deep into the data and operational details to unearth insights and execute improvements as part of a cohesive unit.Responsibilities:End-to-End Financial Oversight (Offer to Cash Cycle) - In Collaboration: Offer & Order Management:Analyze the financial implications of project offers within the team, ensuring pricing models align with profitability targets and strategic objectives.Monitor and validate financial data related to customer orders as part of the team's efforts, ensuring accuracy for subsequent invoicing and revenue recognition. Invoicing & Supplementary Documentation:Oversee the financial integrity and efficiency of the invoicing process with the team, identifying discrepancies and ensuring timely and accurate billing.Validate the financial content of supplementary documentation (e.g., proofs of delivery, service completion reports) to support revenue recognition and audit requirements, working closely with relevant departments. Acceptance & Revenue Recognition:Track and analyze project acceptance milestones from a financial perspective, ensuring proper revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.Collaborate to clarify and reconcile any financial variances arising from customer acceptance or contractual terms.Strategic Financial Analysis & Forecasting - Team Execution:Execute in-depth analysis to clarify and reconcile differences between the initial financial plan/assumptions of the project and its current or future outlook, identifying root causes of deviations as a team member.Quantify and analyze the factors causing these variances, including the direct and indirect impact of operational and business logistics decisions on revenue streams and cost efficiencies.Develop robust Cash Flow Forecasts (Cash FC), actively managing liquidity projections and identifying potential shortfalls or surpluses with the team.Drive the creation of accurate Revenue Forecasts (Revenue FC), incorporating insights from the offer-to-cash cycle and market dynamics.Formulate and champion data-driven improvement measures and actionable plans to management, taking ownership of proposals to optimize project performance and enhance revenue flow through collaborative effort.Business Logistics Impact & Optimization - Joint Effort:Proactively engage with business logistics teams to thoroughly understand their operations, cost structures, and their direct contribution to, or impact on, the project's revenue generation and overall profitability.Design and build sophisticated financial models that integrate logistics-related metrics, enabling accurate forecasting and comprehensive analysis of their contribution to the project's financial outcomes as part of a team initiative.Identify, evaluate, and propose concrete opportunities within business logistics to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and directly influence the project's revenue flow and bottom line.Active Budgeting & Performance Management - Shared Responsibility:Lead the analytical efforts for the overall project Budget, including developing robust financial scenarios and orchestrating input from inter-departmental teams.Drive the development of performance forecasts and conduct rigorous variance analysis to actively monitor project progress against financial targets, providing early warnings and recommendations to the team and management.Accountabilities:Actionable Financial Insights & Data Integrity: Accountable for delivering reliable, accurate, and timely performance data, but more importantly, for transforming this data into actionable financial and accounting insights across the entire offer-to-cash process, as a key contributor to the team's output. Collaborate with the tech team to enhance and build necessary information infrastructure.Process Optimization & Systematization: Leverage advanced Excel skills and demonstrate leadership in actively improving operational efficiency through systematization of financial processes and data analysis. This includes a hands-on approach to designing, implementing, and refining data extraction, manipulation, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the financial flow, often working alongside team members.Proactive Problem Solving: Accountable for proactively identifying financial issues through rigorous analysis at every stage of the financial flow and for developing and advocating for well-reasoned, implementable solutions and recommendations for management. This requires a hands-on commitment to investigating root causes, modeling solutions, and supporting their implementation as part of a collective effort.Strategic Cross-Functional Alignment: Effectively collaborate with various sections of the project, including business logistics, HQ, and other related departments, to drive alignment in planning, budgeting, and execution across the financial lifecycle.Direct Revenue & Profitability Enhancement: Accountable for quantifying the financial impact of business logistics on the project's revenue flow and profitability, and for leading the proposal and evaluation of strategies to optimize these critical financial outcomes.
