Financial Manager 📍 Location: Durbanville💼 Type: Full-time | Permanent💰 Salary: Market-related, based on experienceAbout UsWe’re an innovative and growing Electrical Engineering Group providing end-to-end electrical solutions across South Africa and beyond (www.technoserve.co.za).As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Financial Manager who’s ready to take full ownership of our finance function across multiple entities, contribute strategically, and help drive the business forward.If you’re a hands-on, detail-focused finance professional who thrives in a technical and fast-moving environment — this could be the perfect next step for you.What You’ll DoLead and manage the full financial function across group companies.Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.Oversee cash flow, cost control, and project/job costing.Manage VAT, PAYE, and statutory compliance.Support directors with strategic financial planning and performance reporting.Supervise and mentor finance staff.Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.Drive process efficiency, system improvements, and internal controls.What You’ll BringRegistered Professional Accountant (SA) with a BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification.5–8 years’ experience in a Financial Manager or senior accountant role.Solid understanding of engineering, manufacturing, sales or construction environments.Strong background in management accounting, cash flow, and costing.Proficient in accounting systems. Experience with ERP systems will be advantageous.Advanced Excel and analytical skills.A proactive, solutions-driven attitude with strong attention to detail.Who You AreStrategic thinker with strong business acumen.
