We appreciate your patience during this transition.We are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant to join a very busy and dynamic Accounts Receivable team.This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.Starting salary grade C £26,257 per annumThis role offers the opportunity for a hybrid working pattern to encourage a positive work-life balance. A hybrid working pattern involves a mix of home and office working.Summary Of The RoleThe role sits within the Accounts Receivable Team who form part of the Financial Operations Department at the University of Exeter. The Financial Operations strategy encompasses cross functional working and a continuous improvement ethos, encouraging feedback to increase efficiencies, drive innovation and promote a positive and empowered work environment.As a team member, key areas you will support with are the raising of invoices, responding to queries by email and telephone, ensuring timely payments from our Commercial Customers and Students. Initiate and manage timely conversations with customers who are behind on payments or experiencing financial hardship. Negotiate repayment terms while maintaining compliance with legal and company policies. You will work closely with multiple colleagues across the University in delivering exceptional service to all stakeholders.
