Aila is exclusively partnered with a longstanding client of ours to recruit an FP&A Analyst permanently into a team we’ve helped grow over the years.About the Company:~£7bn turnover and operating more than 1000 sites nationwideThe leader in its field, with continuous plans for acquisitionsWorked with Aila for several years with a high progression & retention rateFocused on sustainability with an excellent culture and environmentThe Role:As an FP&A Analyst in a team of 5, you will work with the team to lead and develop analysis for the Group, supporting the management team to drive the business forward and developing insight through performance analysis on all their divisions within the Group.Key Responsibilities:Provide analytical support and insight to all teams and divisions within the GroupProduction of weekly MI and Exec reports, reviewing monthly retail income and sales performanceSupport and analysis of Capex & Opex, preparing monthly reports for the infrastructure team and detailing any overspend and potential costs savingsProvide commercial support to the trading team including monthly margin and range reportingProvide information to property team and external parties around rent reviews and payments.Regular KPI reporting on retail performance of the business and support the production of the Board report from an FP&A perspectiveSupport the budgeting and forecasting process, taking ownership of account lines / businesses areas as requiredProvide broad analytical support for the wider finance functionAd hoc analysis to support various business initiativesThe Ideal Candidate:Early stage / Part Qualified ACCA/ CIMA Accountant with an interest in FP&AExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and to work to deadlinesAbility to develop positive working relationships with colleagues and external contactsAnalytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make rational decisionsStrong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectivelyExperience of working in a data-driven organisation in a multisite environment.Intermediate Excel skills and comfortable with financial and non-financial data manipulationWhat they Offer:Competitive salary: £40,000 - £45,000Performance-related bonusFul Study Support to complete qualificationsComprehensive benefits package including Private MedicalHybrid working (3 days in St Albans, 1 remote)How to Apply:We want to hear from you if you're excited about this opportunity and believe you have what it takes to excel in this role.
