Financial Planning Analyst

Professional Staffing is partnering with a rapidly growing, internationally traded company to hire an FP&A Analyst who is passionate about turning numbers into actionable insights. This role reports directly to the CFO, requiring notable agility in order to navigate a dynamic landscape, along with the ability to clearly communicate findings on a real time basis, optimizing decision making and maximizing shareholder value. You are not only a financial expert but also a storyteller - a critical subject matter expert whose contributions make a true impact to the company's ongoing success!Key Responsibilities:Compilation of budget, rolling monthly forecasts, and long-term plans, including cash flow projectionsCross functional collaboration with finance and operational business partners to ensure data integrityValue-add variance analysis, encompassing the 'why' behind the 'what'Maintenance and potential creation of complex financial models that evolve with growing business needsUnderstanding of key assumptions, ensuring real time relevance along with reasoning behind shifts in fundamentalsValuation of potential acquisitions, Joint Venture partnerships, market penetration and expansion of current activitiesAbility to identify sensitivities and execute scenario analysis for appropriate risk assessmentsPresentation of findings to CFO along with potential for other C-Suite members in a clear and concise mannerRequirements:CPA designationStrong understanding of IFRS framework3 to 5 years in a corporate finance arena, including experience in FP&AAdvanced financial modelingKnowledge of larger ERP models and BI platformsExperience in a multinational, publicly traded environmentSuperior critical thinking and communication skillsVersed in formal presentationsComfortable working in the alcohol and cannabis industriesPlease note this position is on site 5 days a week, with the possibility of moving to hybrid after 6 months Compensation:$95K - $110K base salary5% - 10% bonusBenefits including paramedical and HSA3+ weeks’ vacationKindly note, only candidates meeting the stipulated requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
